Storyboard Development

This is our initial storyboard, after a short amount of deliberation we decided that while the idea was solid this end product was too linear and more like a film opening or short film than a trailer. We then worked together to formulate a new storyboard which made it significantly less linear and gave less information to the audience so they could leave it up to their own imagination.

After deciding that we needed to make the storyboard less linear this is what we came up with,as you can see some shots have been added and other shots jumbled around. As we thought that they were good shots but just needed moving around to give the trailer a more dynamic feel. However we then decided that the 5th line on the storyboard was unnecessary and gave away too much about the film, we have therefore decided to replace it with more shots on the council estate to give the trailer more emotion.

We then edited the storyboard further and removed an entire section which implied there was an interview. We did this because we thought this provided too much of a storyline and gave too much away. We decided to replace this with some more emotional shots of our poorer protagonist in a council estate in London to create more feeling in the trailer and less of a linear storyline.
